Licensed Staff Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Staff Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive and personalized healthcare services to patients remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual patient assessments, including medical history collection, physical examinations, and diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses and injuries
• Develop and implement treatment plans, provide education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and therapies, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate electronic health records

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care or family practice
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a virtual setting, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Board Certification by ANCC or AANP and a valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the state where the virtual primary care practice is based
