Licensed Structural Engineer

Job Summary

To support structural growth in transportation-related buildings, the full-time Licensed Structural Engineer will focus on planning, analysis, design, and detailing of new structures and renovations, while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and implements structural planning, analysis, and design documentation for transportation-related building structures
• Mentors junior team members in design plans, technical oversight, and project documentation
• Monitors project budgets and schedules while assisting with proposals and presentations for rail/transit projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; master's degree preferred
• Minimum 5-8 years of structural engineering experience required
• Licensed PE (Professional Engineer) or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Experience with new structural building construction and renovations
• Proficient in the design of steel and concrete structures with knowledge of relevant codes
