Licensed Structural Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, a Licensed Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and design, collaborate with team members, and ensure compliance with US building codes while managing project responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Competently perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design under general supervision
• Plan and conduct work requiring independent evaluation and selection of engineering techniques and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers while managing workload and project commitments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer License (PE/PEng)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering
• Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
• Proficiency in structural engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
