Licensed Structural Engineering Consultant

Job Summary

To support renewable energy projects, the part-time Licensed Structural Engineering Consultant will perform structural engineering reviews, prepare design specifications, and advise project developers while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structural engineering reviews and analyses for power projects
• Prepare structural design specifications and technical reports for various stakeholders
• Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects to support financing and development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering with a structural specialty; Master's degree is a plus
• 20+ years of detailed structural design experience, including mass concrete and steel
• 10+ years of experience in structural design specific to power generation or distribution
• Experience in writing structural engineering specifications and supporting documentation
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
