Licensed Structural Software Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as a subject matter expert for structural component engineering within the TrueBuild software, the full-time Licensed Structural Software Integration Engineer will maintain engineering documentation, collaborate with the software team on safety and accuracy, and conduct research to support software development in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and document engineering requirements for trusses and related components
• Review and approve engineering components released in the TrueBuild software
• Research and document building code releases and their implications for software development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required
• Engineering license required
• At least seven years of related experience required
• Structural engineering experience strongly preferred
• Experience with wood components and residential or multifamily projects preferred
