Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor/ Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LASAC/LISAC) in Arizona on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling to members through various communication methods to monitor their recovery progress
  • Conduct initial assessments and onboard users, offering therapeutic strategies to manage temptations and cravings
  • Collaborate with team members, maintain active licensing, attend meetings, and commit to a minimum of 10 hours per month

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in CBT and behavioral support for substance use disorders
  • MS/MA or BS/BA in a related field
  • Proficiency in evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Medication Assisted Treatments, and Relapse Prevention
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and adapt to fast-changing environments
  • Hold an active state credential and a relevant credential recognized by national credentialing bodies
