Licensed Substance Use Counselor

Job Summary

Compassionate and dedicated, the full-time Licensed Substance Use Counselor will provide individual and group counseling services remotely or in a hybrid schedule, assisting patients with opioid addiction through crisis management and coping strategies while collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services, coordinating all treatment-related services
• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility and develop aftercare plans
• Respond to patient grievances and complaints while ensuring the effective delivery of counseling services

Required qualifications

• Current licensure as LSAA, LADAC, LMHC, LMSW, LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT
• Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check and drug screening
