Job Summary
Leading the Samaritans program, the full-time Licensed Suicide Prevention Director will manage suicide prevention initiatives, oversee evidence-based training and support services, and collaborate with mental health organizations in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality implementation of suicide prevention services with measurable impact
- Set and exceed goals for direct service projects while collaborating on strategic direction
- Conduct trainings, community presentations, and facilitate support groups for individuals affected by suicide
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the suicide prevention field
- Strong organizational skills for managing grants, budgets, and direct service demands
- Experience in conducting trainings and engaging with the community
- Knowledge of best practices in suicide prevention and related topics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
