Licensed Supervising Physician, Psychiatry

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual treatment program, the full-time salaried Licensed Supervising Physician, Psychiatry will deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication management for patients with eating disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for patients with eating disorders
• Execute collaborative practice agreements for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and monitor medical stability
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide clinical oversight to team members

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more states, with willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
• 3+ years of clinical practice with experience in supervising and mentoring advanced practice providers
• Proven competence in eating disorder medical management and monitoring psychiatric/medical stability
