Licensed Technical Designer

Job Summary

Experienced Technical Designers will find a full-time opportunity focused on developing technical designs and construction documents for restaurant projects, while working remotely or from a NORR office.

Key responsibilities

• Develops technical designs and edits architectural drawings to meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements
• Performs design activities including programming, code research, and site evaluations
• Coordinates with contractors and consultants to address constructability issues and obtain necessary permits

Required qualifications

• 7-11 years of project work experience
• Experience in all phases of the project cycle
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes
• Completion of related post-secondary education; registration with a professional architectural association is an asset
