Licensed Telephonic Triage RN
Job Summary
Providing remote support in a 24/7 Occupational Health triage call center, the full-time Licensed Telephonic Triage RN will manage incoming calls, document assessments, and utilize proprietary algorithms to guide the triage process for injured workers, with shifts scheduled between 3pm and 4am CST.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a rapid flow of incoming telephone calls from clients in a call center environment
- Document each call efficiently and accurately while following HIPAA compliance policies
- Complete assessments of symptoms and concerns using Medcor's Triage Algorithms
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license and current BLS (CPR) certification
- Ability to handle a high volume of consecutive calls and work every other weekend
- Strong technological skills with a typing speed of at least 30 WPM
- Access to high-speed internet and a private space for patient privacy
- Ability to receive and apply feedback effectively
