Job Summary

To support at-risk youth, the full-time Licensed Therapist in West Virginia will conduct mental health assessments, provide individual and group therapy sessions, and develop individualized treatment plans, utilizing a hybrid work structure that includes both in-person and virtual therapy sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health assessments and document therapy sessions according to best practices
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Maintain electronic records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate as a member of the child and family team

Required qualifications

• A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
• At least 1 year of experience in child welfare services
• A valid professional Master's level, provisional or full license in social work, therapy, or counseling
• Understanding of cultural dynamics and their impact on human behavior
• Ability to foster respectful partnerships with clients and their families
