Job Summary
To support veterans and military members, the Licensed Therapist - Remote will provide individual and group interventions, conduct cognitive screenings, and perform psychosocial assessments while working on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group interventions for patients coping with mental health diagnoses and psychosocial stressors
- Conduct cognitive screenings and thorough psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and appropriate treatment plans
- Offer emergency/crisis interventions and case management services throughout the continuum of care
Required qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice independently in any state as a Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW
- Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field, or a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years' experience practicing therapy independently
- Experience providing therapy to veterans and military members is preferred
- Familiarity with DSM5 clinical presentations and evidence-based psychological interventions
