Job Summary
To support veterans and military personnel in their mental health journey, the part-time Licensed Therapist - Remote will provide individual and group interventions, conduct psychosocial assessments, and offer crisis management while working independently in a contract capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Provides individual and group interventions for patients coping with mental health diagnoses and psychosocial stressors
- Conducts thorough psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and appropriate treatment plans
- Delivers emergency interventions and crisis management to stabilize patients experiencing mental health crises
Required qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice independently as a Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW in any state
- Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field, or a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years' experience practicing therapy independently
- Familiarity with DSM-5 clinical presentations and evidence-based psychological interventions
- Knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention procedures
