Job Summary
To support veterans and military members in navigating mental health challenges, the remote Licensed Therapist - VA will provide individual and group interventions, conduct psychosocial assessments, and deliver crisis management services as part of a contract role.
Key responsibilities
- Provides individual and group interventions for patients coping with mental health diagnoses and psychosocial stressors
- Conducts thorough psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and appropriate treatment plans
- Delivers emergency interventions and crisis management to stabilize patients experiencing mental health symptoms
Required qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice independently in any state as a Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW
- Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field, or a doctoral degree in psychology
- Minimum of 2 years of independent therapy practice experience
- Preferred experience providing therapy to veterans and military members
- Familiarity with DSM-5 clinical presentations and evidence-based psychological interventions
