Licensed Trademark Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trademark Attorney to lead their IP team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and counseling on trademarks, copyright, domain name, and related IP rights
• File, organize, and maintain domestic and international trademark applications and registrations
• Manage trademark prosecution and enforcement strategies globally, including conducting trademark searches and enforcement research

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in the U.S. and in good standing with a state bar
• 10+ years of experience in trademark law, including prosecution, enforcement, and anti-counterfeiting at a top-tier law firm
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities while managing an IP team
• Strong experience with trademark licensing and related commercial agreements
• Strategic thinker with a client-focused mindset
