Licensed Transmission Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Transmission Electrical Engineer specializing in utility transmission design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical staff in preparing utility engineering designs, cost estimates, and customer billing
• Manage engineering aspects of multiple projects ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV
• Assist in the development of technical staff through mentoring and training on engineering principles and safety codes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering and 6 years of experience or equivalent
• Active Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure
• Experience with PLS-CADD, MFAD, and AutoCAD
• 5+ years of experience in Power Transmission Design preferred
• Advanced knowledge of overhead and underground Transmission facilities
