Licensed Transmission Line Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Transmission Line Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design overhead and underground transmission systems using PLS-CADD, ensuring compliance with relevant standards
• Manage projects from conceptual routing and engineering analysis to material procurement and construction-ready packages
• Apply advanced modeling techniques to address site-specific engineering challenges

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and relevant experience in electric utility transmission system design
• Expert-level or working knowledge of PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software
• Familiarity with NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE codes
• 2+ years of experience for Mid-level, 4+ years for Senior-level, and 8+ years for Lead-level positions, with appropriate licensing
• Experience with additional tools like LPILE, FAD, Mathcad, or AutoCAD is a plus
