Job Summary

To lead the design and engineering of roof and floor truss systems, the full-time Licensed Truss Engineer will manage design workflows, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with client expectations and engineering standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the design and engineering of residential and commercial roof and floor truss systems using truss software
  • Review, approve, and seal truss engineering designs and calculations in accordance with applicable codes and standards
  • Manage and prioritize team workload to meet production goals and support team performance
Required qualifications
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
  • 5+ years of experience in truss design, structural engineering, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of wood truss systems and structural engineering principles
  • Familiarity with truss design software and CAD-based drafting environments
