Licensed Utilization Management Nurse Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Utilization Management Nurse Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review services to assure medical necessity, apply clinical expertise, and facilitate safe discharge planning
• Coordinate, document, and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program
• Utilize clinical experience and skills to assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate healthcare services for members

Required Qualifications:

• Current active and unrestricted RN state licensure
• 2+ years of clinical experience as an RN
• 1+ years' experience in Utilization Review and Managed Care
• Strong telephonic communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
