Job Summary
A company is looking for a Licensed Utilization Management Nurse Consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review services to assure medical necessity, apply clinical expertise, and facilitate safe discharge planning
- Coordinate, document, and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program
- Utilize clinical experience and skills to assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate healthcare services for members
Required Qualifications:
- Current active and unrestricted RN state licensure
- 2+ years of clinical experience as an RN
- 1+ years' experience in Utilization Review and Managed Care
- Strong telephonic communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
