Licensed Utilization Management Registered Nurse Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Utilization Management Registered Nurse Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review services to ensure medical necessity and appropriate benefit utilization
• Coordinate and document all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program
• Communicate with providers and other parties to facilitate care/treatment

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN state licensure
• 2+ years of clinical experience as an RN
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
• 1+ years' experience in Utilization Review and Managed Care
• Ability to use a computer station and sit for extended periods of time
