Licensed Ventilation Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support the ongoing design and delivery of Reactor Air Cooling Systems, the contract RAC Component Design Engineer (Ventilation) will work remotely, focusing on designing ventilation components, conducting engineering calculations, and preparing technical documentation in compliance with nuclear standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design nuclear and industrial ventilation components from requirements definition through final design
• Conduct engineering work in accordance with nuclear ventilation codes and standards
• Prepare engineering change packages, including calculations, design reports, and specifications

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university
• 4+ years of relevant experience for Level 9 or 6+ years for Level 10
• Experience in developing the design of ASME AG-1 ventilation systems
• Experience in preparing design and procurement specifications
• Experience working to quality standards, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001
