Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary

To support a high-volume production environment, the full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN) will process and communicate Commercial Pharmacy Prior Authorizations, handle inbound and outbound calls, and maintain accurate documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process authorization requests according to established policies and procedures
• Handle communication with physician offices, pharmacies, and internal teams regarding authorization status and issue resolution
• Maintain accurate documentation and perform data entry related to prior authorization determinations

Required qualifications

• Active unrestricted LPN/LVN license in state of residence or Compact License
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN
• 3+ years of recent prior authorization experience
• Experience in Managed Care, Health Plan, PBM, or Utilization Management (2+ years)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital charting
