Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary
Providing processing and communication support for Commercial Pharmacy Prior Authorizations, the full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN) will handle inbound and outbound calls, review authorization requests, and maintain documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and process prior authorization requests according to established policies
- Handle communication with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and internal teams regarding authorization statuses
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards in a high-volume environment
Required qualifications
- Active unrestricted LPN/LVN license in state of residence or Compact License
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN
- 3+ years of experience in prior authorization and managed care environments
- Experience with digital charting and handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred
