Licensing and Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensing and Credentialing Specialist who will support the licensing and credentialing functions for clinical providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the licensing process for clinical providers in compliance with federal and state laws
• Support the credentialing process and ensure all provider licenses and certificates remain current
• Coordinate with physicians to gather necessary information for licensing applications and communicate status updates

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in licensing and credentialing preferred
• NAMSS Certification as a Certified Professional Medical Services Manager (CPMSM) or equivalent decision-making ability
• Knowledge of medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards
• Experience with database management and report generation
• Ability to develop policy and procedure documentation
