Job Summary
Serving as a subject matter expert in licensing and commissions operations, the full-time remote Licensing Operations Consultant will coordinate daily operations, drive process efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with various business units and supporting system enhancements.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full broker licensing lifecycle, including state appointments and compliance training
- Support commission operations for accurate payment processing and maintain regulatory accuracy through reconciliation and reporting
- Lead block transfers and firm mergers, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance with internal and external requirements
Required qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in insurance or retirement products operations, focusing on licensing and commissions
- 2-3 years in a senior or lead role with mentoring responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with block transfers and firm mergers in an annuity or insurance environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of state insurance licensing requirements and regulatory frameworks
