Licensing Specialist

Job Summary

To support critical business objectives around clinician licensing, the full-time Licensing Specialist will manage licensing activities for various clinical staff, ensuring adherence to guidelines and successful credentialing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Initiate and facilitate licensing activities for new and existing clinicians, including physicians and mental health professionals
• Perform administrative support for obtaining and maintaining state licensure and ensure successful completion of licensing plans
• Communicate risks and milestones to leadership while supporting special projects related to licensing strategy and regulatory topics

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience directly licensing clinicians, preferably in both behavioral health and medical license types
• Ability to work with highly confidential information and maintain meticulous attention to detail
• Independent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a strong results orientation
• Service-oriented, self-confident, and dependable with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Adept at identifying opportunities for improvement and effectively communicating concerns
