LiDAR Calibration Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a LiDAR Calibration Specialist to join their Geomatics Technologies Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform LiDAR calibration, including boresight adjustments and surface matching
• Apply QA/QC procedures and run accuracy assessments to ensure data compliance
• Collaborate with project managers and technical leads for project planning and delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geography, GIS, Engineering, Hydrography, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in LiDAR calibration for topographic and topobathymetric applications
• Proficiency with Applanix POSPac and advanced experience with TerraSolid software
• Familiarity with LiDAR standards and guidelines
• Working knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro and Global Mapper
