Job Summary

A company is looking for a LiDAR Data Science Expert specializing in Wildfire and Hazard Mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical authority for LiDAR and geospatial data workflows
• Oversee ingestion of LiDAR data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards
• Lead cloud migration efforts and support the creation of operational deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, remote sensing, computer science, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with LiDAR and geospatial data in production environments
• Advanced Python and SQL skills, with experience in automated data pipelines
• Deep understanding of LiDAR data ingestion, validation, and lifecycle management
• Experience with cloud-based workflows, particularly Azure and AWS
