Life and Disability Claims Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Claims Analyst will manage claim administrative and technical tasks, adjudicate medical, dental, and vision claims, and provide customer service while serving as a liaison for internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Secure and analyze claim information to determine life and disability benefits in accordance with policy provisions and regulations
• Calculate benefit payments and communicate claim decisions on new and continuing claims
• Advise team members on claim processing procedures and ensure compliance with established guidelines

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of prior medical claim processing experience
• Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to analyze and interpret documents
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Strong math and decision-making skills
