Job Summary
Managing an assigned book of clients, the full-time remote Life and Health Insurance Account Manager will oversee self-funded group health plans, serve as the primary liaison for clients and brokers, and ensure overall client satisfaction through presentations and performance reviews.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between clients, brokers, and internal departments to manage self-funded group health plans
- Conduct quarterly meetings to review plan performance and build client relationships for retention
- Prepare and present compliance updates and benefit plan changes to clients and employees
Required qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience required
- At least three years of experience in an account management role
- Excellent working knowledge of employee medical benefit plans
- Experience with group health insurance and self-funded health plans preferred
- Life and Health Insurance Producers license preferred
