Life and Health Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting senior sales executives, the full-time Senior Sales and Account Specialist - Small Group and Mid-Market will manage client relationships and retention efforts remotely in South Hampton Roads, Peninsula, or Northeast North Carolina, with occasional travel for in-person meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in producing and retaining profitable business within small and mid-sized segments
• Interact with general agents, brokers, benefit administrators, and members to achieve growth objectives
• Participate in seasonal client and broker meetings/events as required

Required qualifications

• High school diploma and 5 years of related experience required
• Must obtain a Life and Health Insurance License within 90 days of hire
• Experience in the health insurance industry or related fields preferred
• Familiarity with group insurance for small (5-50 employees) and mid-market (51-150 employees) segments is advantageous
