Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Life Claims Specialist will make fair and timely claims decisions on life insurance claims, analyze claim information, and deliver personalized experiences for beneficiaries while adhering to confidentiality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Make accurate claims decisions and analyze various claim-related documents
- Communicate with beneficiaries and field members regarding claim status and settlement options
- Maintain organization and accuracy in case management while meeting production and quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in life insurance is desirable
- Technical proficiency with the ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and maintain high accuracy in technical work
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines independently
