Job Summary
Supporting core life insurance products, the remote Life Claims Specialist will manage incoming claim intake calls, collect necessary claim details, and set up new claim files while ensuring a smooth and empathetic claims experience on a temporary basis.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming life claim intake calls from a live queue
- Collect required claim details with empathy and professionalism
- Create and maintain claim files in the claims system and ensure completeness for processing teams
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of life claims experience (intake and/or claim setup strongly preferred)
- Strong insurance industry knowledge
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced workflow
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and processes
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation habits
