Life & Health Insurance Licensed Director

Job Summary

To lead underwriting and risk strategies for the organization, the full-time salaried Life & Health Insurance Licensed Director will manage underwriting staff, establish underwriting strategies, and serve as a subject matter expert while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Create relationships with Broker partners to support growth and cost containment objectives
• Develop and maintain underwriting processes and guidelines
• Support the sales process by providing subject matter expertise and education to team members

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical stop loss underwriting for an insurance carrier
• Experience managing staff strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of medical stop loss products
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; Master's or advanced degree preferred
• Life & Health Insurance License required, or obtain within 1 year of employment
