Job Summary
Managing the review and processing of various life insurance claims, the full-time remote Life Insurance Claims Consultant will ensure accuracy and compliance while handling complex cases and adhering to departmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Identifies and initiates additional reviews for claims requiring further analysis
- Manages active claims in accordance with department time service standards and quality performance
- Gathers and reviews data from multiple sources to make recommendations and decisions on claims
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of related experience; or Bachelor's Degree with 0-2 years of related experience
- Experience in reviewing and processing insurance claims
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to claims
- Ability to understand complex medical, financial, and legal documents
- Familiarity with investigative tools used in claims processing
