Job Summary

Managing the review and processing of various life insurance claims, the full-time remote Life Insurance Claims Consultant will ensure accuracy and compliance while handling complex cases and adhering to departmental standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Identifies and initiates additional reviews for claims requiring further analysis
  • Manages active claims in accordance with department time service standards and quality performance
  • Gathers and reviews data from multiple sources to make recommendations and decisions on claims
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of related experience; or Bachelor's Degree with 0-2 years of related experience
  • Experience in reviewing and processing insurance claims
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to claims
  • Ability to understand complex medical, financial, and legal documents
  • Familiarity with investigative tools used in claims processing
