Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely evaluation of life insurance applications and support the underwriting team in decision-making
• Direct workflow among staff and lead daily meetings to address challenges and maintain efficiency
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance the professional development of Underwriters

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or industry-related equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role preferred
• Minimum 10 years of underwriting experience required
• Ability to interpret EKGs is required
• Fellowship in the Academy of Life Underwriters or completion of CLU courses preferred
