Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Life Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand underwriting policies, guidelines, practices, and procedures
• Evaluate individual medical history, occupational hazards, and financial background to determine risk acceptance
• Influence process improvements while maintaining mortality expectations

Required Qualifications:

• 4-year degree preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of risk selection in both medical and non-medical contexts
• Experience in term and permanent life insurance underwriting
• In process or completed industry designations such as LOMA, ALMI, FMLI, ALU, or FALU
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
