Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter Trainee to participate in a comprehensive training program for developing underwriting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn to evaluate mortality risk using applications, medical data, and related reports
• Develop foundational knowledge in medical, financial, and lay underwriting; support cases up to $1M
• Document underwriting rationale and meet quality, service, and production milestones

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of professional work experience
• 1+ years experience in a fast-paced or changing environment
• 1+ years of demonstrated analytical thinking
• Completion of LOMA 281 & 291 within 7 months of hire
