Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and highly analytical Life Underwriting Auditor, this full-time remote position will conduct detailed audits of individual life insurance cases to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and support quality initiatives while mentoring underwriting staff.

Key responsibilities

• Audit individual life insurance cases for underwriting accuracy and guideline adherence
• Evaluate medical history, financial justification, and risk classification decisions
• Provide structured feedback and coaching to underwriters and participate in post-issue reviews

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of individual life underwriting experience
• Advanced expertise in medical and financial underwriting
• Ability to mentor and influence underwriting quality across teams
• Deep understanding of underwriting guidelines and regulatory considerations
• College degree preferred; high school diploma required
