Job Summary

A company is looking for a Life Underwriting Consultant to manage assigned work, develop agency relationships, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate medical, financial, and non-medical information to determine risk classification according to company guidelines
• Collaborate with reinsurers to negotiate risk classification for business exceeding mortality standards
• Communicate with field partners and home office personnel to acquire necessary information and resolve issues professionally

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in individual life underwriting
• Bachelor's degree
• Industry-related education (ALU, CLU, LOMA, etc.)
• Knowledge of underwriting manuals and risk assessment tools
• Familiarity with individual life insurance products and processes
