Job Summary

A company is looking for a Life Large Case Underwriting Consultant Principal, fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess medical and financial risks for complex underwriting cases, exercising delegated approval authority
• Communicate underwriting decisions to producers and internal distribution, providing technical support and informal leadership to the team
• Recommend improvements to underwriting guidelines and represent the department at industry events

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Life Insurance Underwriting
• Four-year degree in Business, Communications, Medical fields, or equivalent work experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship
• Experience in utilizing artificial intelligence tools and resources in underwriting
