Job Summary

A company is looking for a Life Underwriting Specialist to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Financial Advisors and internal partners while ensuring quality and production goals are met
• Analyze and appraise insurance applications, making decisions on approvals, classifications, or declines with guidance
• Communicate with field partners regarding underwriting decisions and assist in policy placement

• A bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Analytical skills to make independent decisions and apply sound judgment
• Proficient in computer skills and using various software packages
• Ability to work accurately while maintaining speed and flexibility in a team environment
