Lighter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lighter responsible for lighting and compositing shots under the direction of a CG Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with CG Supervisor and Lead Lighter to achieve visual targets for assigned shots
• Optimizes shots for rendering and troubleshoots creative and technical issues
• Manages individual shot load to meet deadlines and documents lighting tools and processes as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Art, Film, Visual Effects, Animation, Computer Graphics, or related fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience with lighting and rendering
• Knowledge of cinematic principles
• Experience with ray tracing and lighting software such as Nuke, Katana, and/or Houdini
• Experience in feature animation and proven collaboration skills within a team
