Lighter

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Lighter will be responsible for all aspects of lighting and compositing of shots under the direction of a CG Supervisor, collaborating closely with the team to achieve visual targets and optimize shots for rendering.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with CG Supervisor and Lead Lighter to achieve visual targets for assigned shots
• Optimize shots for rendering and troubleshoot creative and technical issues
• Manage individual shot load based on the schedule to meet deadlines

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Art, Film, Visual Effects, Animation, Computer Graphics, or related fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience with lighting and rendering, including knowledge of cinematic principles
• Familiarity with ray tracing and lighting software such as Nuke, Katana, and/or Houdini
• Experience in feature animation and successful collaboration within a team
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive, creative problem-solving approach
