Linguistic Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of LLM-powered features, the full-time remote Linguistic Engineer will build, maintain, and analyze datasets while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities:

• Aggregate cross-functional requests and translate them into high-quality datasets through synthetic data collections and live user traffic
• Deliver analytics and model performance results on datasets, and design experiments for evaluating rater quality
• Develop manual and automated processes for concurrent projects, ensuring high-quality labeled data and creating guidelines for LLM data rating and annotation needs

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or related field
• Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in Linguistics
• Experience with Data Annotation, SQL, and Python
• Strong knowledge of linguistics including Phonetics, Syntax, and Semantics
• Ability to analyze numerical rating results and draw conclusions based on data
