Job Summary
To support a Federal Program remotely, the Linux Administrator will manage and maintain Linux systems across various cloud platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and security in a multi-cloud environment.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
- Manage system updates, patching, and automate provisioning using scripting and configuration tools
- Enforce security compliance through audits, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening
Required qualifications
- Relevant degree with 2-4+ years of experience in Linux system administration in enterprise environments
- Strong experience managing Linux systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) across multiple cloud platforms
- Proficient with cloud services in AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP for infrastructure management
- Skilled in scripting (Bash, Python) and automation using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust government clearance
