Linux Administrator

Job Summary

Managing and maintaining Linux systems across various cloud platforms, the remote Linux Administrator will ensure the stability, performance, and security of a multi-cloud environment while handling system updates, automation, and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
• Manage system updates, patching, and automate provisioning using scripting and configuration tools
• Enforce security compliance through audits, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening

Required qualifications:

• Relevant degree with 2-4+ years of experience in Linux system administration in enterprise environments
• Strong experience managing Linux systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) across multiple cloud platforms
• Proficient with cloud services in AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP for infrastructure management
• Skilled in scripting (Bash, Python) and automation using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust government clearance
