Job Summary

A company is looking for a Linux Developer for a 6+ month contract position.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Linux user space software and refactor existing C++ applications
Integrate applications with Linux device drivers and utilize user kernel interaction mechanisms
Debug using GDB, logs, and Linux diagnostic tools

Required Qualifications

Strong experience with Linux user space software development
Proficiency in C/C++ programming
Solid understanding of Linux OS fundamentals including processes, memory, threading, and I/O
Hands-on experience with integrating applications with Linux device drivers
Familiarity with mechanisms such as ioctl, mmap, shared memory, and sysfs
