Linux Development Support Engineer

Job Summary

Providing senior technical expertise in enterprise Linux systems administration, the full-time Linux Development Support Engineer will architect server environments, design automated deployment workflows, and ensure system reliability while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage enterprise Linux server environments, ensuring stability and reliability for software development lifecycles
• Collaborate with development teams to translate project requirements into infrastructure designs and promote DevOps practices
• Plan and execute large-scale system upgrades, migrations, and maintain security compliance across various environments

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in designing and managing enterprise Linux server environments
• Advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and security practices
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and on-premises virtualized infrastructure (VMware)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
